FROM: Mobile Homeschool Athletic Association

 Meeting on Monday, April 21, West Regional Library at 7:00 pm.

 We only had a couple of girls show up for softball, so there will be no
softball team this year.

 We had 9 boys sign up to play baseball, but this is not enough for a
competitive team.  What we are planning to do is hold a baseball fundamental
practice day once a week.  We do not have the start date on this yet as we
are still looking for volunteers to help with coaching.  I can do the
drills, but pitching and batting or a little more than I can handle myself.lol!

 There is some good news for our spring lineup though!  We have Magnolia
Grove for our home course!  We are in the process of getting things
finalized for this.  I will send more information as this progresses.

 We have a basketball coach who wants to get together for a practice day at
least once a week now so we can have a real team come this winter.

 I need a cheerleading coach.  We are putting together a cheerleader camp,
but I would like to have a coach lined up to work with the girls immediately
after the camp!  It is time to get ready for the fall and the spring competitions.

 We are still working on a Tennis Camp!

 Please believe us when I tell you that we have not given up on you yet!
Please do not give up on us!

 We need your help!  We need some coaches to step forward!  If you want your
child to play, then you need to get involved!  Please make an effort to
attend the General Meeting on April 21st.

 I know the website is not up to date, but I'm running behind trying to keep
up.lol!  I'll get the updates on it before the meeting.  Just keep coming
back to see if the changes have been made!
