CALCULATE HIGH SCHOOL CREDITS AND GPA:
... book that can be e- or hard copy that Bonita recommends for each
family of a middle or high school to purchase. PCS will have a
downloaded copy in our resource center, but it will be one of those
resources that you will want to have handy to refer to over and over.
It will cut down on confusion for calculating credits and the GPA.

HIGH SCHOOL SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: "God Cares" sponsored by Convoy of
Hope   http://www.convoyofhope.org/
High School students will have an opportunity in April to give back to
their community. Praise Family Church will be serving alongside other
ministries as we reach out to those in need.
There is a volunteer meeting on April 27 at Moffett Road Assembly of
God. This would be a great way for students to receive community
service credit in addition to the RELAY FOR LIFE.

VOCATIONAL TESTING:
This is sponsored by the military for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. We
have been contacted by Major H.L. Atkinson, Commanding Officer of the
Recruiting Station in Montgomery. He and his wife are parents of five
sons and are a Christian home schooling family. He is encouraging an
interest for the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)
testing for the high school student. "Taking the test does not commit
an individual to enter the military just like taking the ACT does not
commit a person to attend college. It is merely a test that measures a
person's aptitude and reveals areas that a young person may be
naturally talented in. It is a useful tool for determining a career
course."
Check out this website: www.asvabprogram.com. If there is enough
interest, we will pursue this for a high school activity 07-08. The
test can be administered in Mobile.

According to SNOPES "...by pushing 90#, you give the requesting
individual full access to your telephone line, which enables them to
place long distance calls billed to your home phone number...Scam has
been originating from many local jails/prisons."
SNOPES: This applies to businesses that use #9 as an access to outgoing
